Biographie

Dr. Christine Chevallier, is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Finance, Accounting, Law and Information Systems at La Rochelle Business School and researcher at the CEREGE (University of Poitiers). She received hes Phd in Economics from the University of Dauphine in 2004. Dr Chevallier has extensive teaching experience, having taught at the University of Dauphine, Centrale Paris, Montpellier Business School, ESG Paris to name a few. Her professional experience covers teaching, research and consulting in the public (European Community) and private sector especially in the Banking-Insurance companies (Dexia, CA,…). Her teaching interests have spanned the areas of Mathematics and Statistics for managers, asset and risk management, international finance for graduate and post graduate students. Her research covers a broad range of topics in financial economics, including the statistical methods for asset portfolio managers, the risk management and insurance market. Lecturing and publishing in French and English, she has published papers in the international referred publications in Business Process Management Journal, Revue Risque, Revue Française d’Economie, Economie & Société… in the field of Insurance Economics and risk management.
