Sophie Hennekam is an Associate Professor at ESC La Rochelle School of Business. With a background in Psychology, Diversity Management and Human Resource Management, her research revolves around diversity issues at work such as older workers, gender equality and precarious work in the creative industries. Moreover, she studies identity and identity transitions as well as work-life balance issues. Sophie is a visiting professor at Curtin University in Western Australia and at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. She has published in journals such as Human Relations, Journal of Vocational Behavior and Human Resource Management Journal among others. She is part of the Chair de la Diversité at ESC La Rochelle and works in close collaborations with organizations and trade unions.
