Groupe Sup de Co La Rochelle (La Rochelle Business School) invites applications for one full-time position in Economics at the Assistant or Associate level. The candidates are expected to strengthen the position of the Department, which comprises 15 full-time academically qualified members and 3 PhD students. Applicants must provide evidence of effective teaching at the university level and be available for university community service.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses such as economics (macro and micro), and eventually project management.
For this position, anticipated starting date is March of 2013. Applicants should be fluent in English, as most of the courses will be taught in this language. In addition, fluency in French is preferred.
Founded in 1987 and is located in La Rochelle, France, la Rochelle Business Schools offers 5 programs in management at undergraduate and master’s level to 2700 full-time undergraduate and graduate students annually.
Applicants must hold a doctorate or PhD degree and provide evidence of recent publications in peer-reviewed journals. Applicants for the position of Assistant Professor should have completed or be near to completing a PhD in Economic and demonstrate their potential to publish in peer-reviewed academic journals.
Groupe Sup de Co La Rochelle is actively pursuing AACSB accreditation. Consequently, only applicants who qualify as "Academically Qualified" status according to AACSB standards will be considered. For this position, we will favor candidates who conduct research related to Tourism and/or Corporate Social Responsibility.
The salary is competitive at the European standard, with additional research performance-based bonus. Moving assistance will be provided.
