Vincent Helfrich have a PhD in Economics and a Master’s in Science and Technology Studies at Strasbourg University.

He is senior lecturer at La Rochelle Business School, and participates in the activities of the IRSI (Institute of Social Responsibility through Innovation).

He is member of the Interdisciplinary Research Institute on Science and Technology (Institut de Recherches Interdisciplinaires sur les Sciences et la Technologie (IRIST EA3424) at Strasbourg University.

He is also a member of the AFNOR DDRS standardization committee: Sustainable Development / Social Responsibility. The main objective of this commission is to facilitate the implementation of ISO 26000, to participate in a future revision and to produce normative tools on CSR

Its main research theme is the multidisciplinary approach of the normative influences on economics or scientific institutions.
